What a privilege to once again photograph this sweet family....and this year there was a new addition to the family!

  

I loved this location on the Justin and Amy's property....and I could tell the boys love playing and exploring here, it was great fun to follow them all around!

A stroll about the grounds of USD was the perfect backdrop for this adorable family, especially since Tim is a faculty member here. Glad this family has made Vermillion their home, what a wonderful addition to the University as well as the community!

This was an amazing family to work with! They all got up and drove to Lewis and Clark Lake from various distances for an 8:00 family session so that we could catch the best light of the day. And everyone was happy! I have to admit that I was a little nervous about this shoot just because of the large group and number of small children, but it turned out to be one of my favorite sessions of 2015. You are an amazing family....you have a beautiful family Jim and Iris, give yourselves a pat on the back! Here are a few images from the morning.

Early summer, what a wonderful time for some family photos! And these guys made my job so easy! The photos were taken at Michelle and Ken's home and surrounding neighborhood, which made it easy for everyone to relax and have some fun, including me, the photographer!

Ava is 4!

What a fun afternoon we had on Ava's grandparents farm taking some photos to mark her 4th birthday on June 1st!

Ava was the perfect hostess for this teddy bear picnic.

Grandpa even got his Corvette out for his little princess and was rewarded with a big kiss!

This was a spontaneous 4 generation photo - when the opportunity is there you must take advantage of it! Ava is a lucky girl to be loved so much by these wonderful women.

First Communion

First Communion and Mother's Day all in one day......doesn't it make you just stop and think about how your child is growing up so quickly? These milestones pull at my heart strings, because I know how quickly our children go through them. Thank you to this Mom for wanting to capture these photos of this important step of her daughter's faith journey! Blessings on your important day!

What a beautiful afternoon to photograph this beautiful family! I didn't even have to coax the smiles, these are some of the happiest children I've ever seen and I think you'll find that apparent from these photos!
