Kason is quite the charmer with his blue eyes and good looks; we had a fun session to mark his first birthday. Such an easy smile and lots of personality in his expressions!

Shana and Joe's Wedding
What a perfect day for this couple! During a summer of record breaking heat, these two were lucky enough to have temps in the 70's on their wedding day in August! We enjoyed cool breezes off of the Missouri River as we captured these photos on the Merridean Bridge at Yankton.
Landen - Newborn Session
After a drive of two and a half hours from Omaha for this photo session, I was worried that Landen would be wide awake, but I was pleasantly surprised at how easily he went to sleep! Even after a little bit of wrangling to get him in his Dad's pocket! I just love how this little guy is so tenderly supported and protected by his Daddy's hand. And I want to say, thanks to Nick for his service to our county, and thank you to his family for the sacrifices they have made also.

Eli's Cake Smash!
Nothing is more fun than a cake smash to mark that big first birthday! And Eli was rockin' his session; he very politely ate his cake like a little gentlemen followed by some splishin' and splashin' in the tub afterwards......I don't know who had more fun, Eli or me!

Holden - Born Nov. 29, 2012
Holden came from Springfield for his photo session and he was my champion sleeper; I think the combination of being born a little early and with a full tummy, he was ready for a long winter's nap!
Little reindeer like this one melt my heart! And I just received the most beautiful Christmas card made from this photo! I believe when I took the picture I said "this is your Christmas card right here!" And I turned out to be right!
I like to think my Mom is smiling down from heaven while she watches how I am using her egg basket these days.....it makes the perfect nest for a newborn!
I love props! And I love when clients bring props! How creative to grab Dad's winter hat and some sun bleached deer antlers.

Myles - Born Nov. 27, 2012
Myles' Mommy was so excited to receive a gift certificate for this newborn session, her email expressing her delight brought me to tears! Look at this handsome little man all snuggled in, no matter where or what position I put him in!
Luke - Born Nov. 18, 1012
Luke is ready for summer and his chance on the baseball field! I love this sweet little face and how his hand is already comfortable around a baseball.

Cooper looks like one of Santa's little elves, just taking a quick little nap after getting all those toys made!

Cooper - Born Nov. 15, 2012
The last few weeks have been fun, fun, fun with 4 newborn sessions with the cutest little men ever! And all were born in Novembmber! Cooper started off the fun being the first of the four. As you can see from his smile, he thought it was a pretty fun time being in his birthday suit for his photo session. Or maybe he is smiling because he just peed on Daddy's football jersey? 
It is so rare to get such good eye contact from a newborn but Cooper was definitely alert and keeping an eye on me here.
